I recently seen this movie again and was reminded of some of the incredible spiritual dialogue in it . Of course M.Shamalayn is a genius and Gibson's acting is masterful. But the movie did bring up the question of "Signs" we see everyday in our lives. What do we make of them? Are they for real or just figments of our imagination? The question is, like he says in the movie are you the type of person that sees spiritual significance in certain occurences in the world, something where there's a bigger force in control of our lives and destinies or do you just see things as natural phenomena and coincidences which we're at the mercy of and generates within us fear. Which type of person are you? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27qUO8_9uT0

I love this movie, and watch it any time I have a chance - though the scene with his wife dying is a hard thing for me to watch. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason and God is a firm and intricate part of our lives. And just the thought of this makes my heart smile. I don't understand most of what happens in my life - but hindsight is often 20/20.

I generally see things as natural occurences, yet at the same time, carrying a deeper significance that the person of God can see, as the exterior melts away like wax and we see the beauty and lessons of God in everything.

Big Asteroid to Zoom By Earth This WeekendA newly discovered asteroid the size of a football field will cruise through Earth's neighborhood this weekend, just days after another space rock made an even closer approach to our planet. The 330-foot-wide (100 meters) asteroid 2013 ET will miss Earth by 600,000 miles (960,000 kilometers) when it zips by on Saturday (March 9). The space rock flyby will come just days after the 33-foot (10 m) asteroid 2013 EC approached within 230,000 miles (370,000 km) of us early Monday (March 4).[/i] http://news.yahoo.com/big-asteroid-zoom-earth-weekend-115835023.html
