Hey good people I feel like one of those bloodsucking insects (for asking you again..) but can you please pray for a catechumen that hits the final day of catechumen classes? I have no idea what happens after today (friday morning local time). The priest has told me that we will have some individual talks soon to see what plans the parish has for me. Will if possible ask him after vespers services after the classes and pray for it to go well. Little excited, little nervous and not sure what to expect or not to expect (the best would perhaps be to not expect anything at all?)

Can give you a small update: I stepped by his office after vespers before the church was closed for the evening and asked kindly when it was possible to find time for talks. It is sometimes difficult to know, as he is busy and has been sick/back to work/sick/back to work for the last four months. But he told me (and we are all glad he did) today that talks had to wait as he is on 50 % sickleave and has been ordered by his doctor to slow down (many have asked him to do that) as he did not want to make any arrangements he could not follow up. I told him to get well and that he is in my prayers. So I prepare for the Great Lent and read, pray, attend services (sounds familiar to you right?) and wait for him to approach me when he feels better. For now this is the best. I am sure that God has a plan in all this with me. Now, i will sit in my corner and be a nice l`il boy for a while.

Dear Tommelomsky,
I hope your priest recovers his health soon.
I suppose you are learning patience. I know I would find your situation difficult. Your fervent desire is a blessing too.

Patience, humbleness and some time further ahead (and into The Great Lent) with selfstudies and I was asked to get hold of Triodion and read it daily through The Great Lent. I am sure that means that he wants me to be prepared. Prayers, studies (more learning) and getting new experiences. It will be an interesting time and probably a blessing too. Difficult, in a way yes, but in another way more time for preparations.

The psalms are great, I use many of them in morning as evening prayers. I will pray to her and ask for help. Got a good feeling and begin to think that this is a right step (and Glory to God for this), but my priest finally listens to our concerns and do take more time off (we are lucky to have a assistant priest that is great too and very helpful).
