Lord have mercy on Paul.
Isaiah 5:20 "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"

Continued prayers,  Lord have mercy.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

They took him into surgery prep a couple hours ago to repair his damaged aorta, thankfully arthroscopically.  The last thing he needs is full open heart but the surgeon was very confident that he can do what he has to do without having to crack him open.  The actual procedure was scheduled to start at 9:30 EDT so he's (hopefully?) under at the moment.  If all goes according to plan, this should be it for the time being and he'll be home by Tuesday.

Lord, have mercy!

Okay, he was apparently bumped into the #2 position.

In the meantime, it can't hurt to pray for whoever bumped him, as that person apparently needs surgery more than my dad at the moment.

Glory to God!

My dad is now out of surgery and on his way to post-op.  Everything went well.

wonderful, Glory to God!
To God be the Glory in all things! Amen!

Only pray for me, that God would give me both inward and outward strength, that I may not only speak, but truly will; and that I may not merely be called a Christian, but really be found to be one. St.Ignatius of Antioch.Epistle to the Romans.
