This is sad.  I had some discussion with him, via email, a coule of years ago and he seems to be a wonderful person.  From what I understand, he has been sick for some time.

Our parish is close with St Tikhon's (our pastor is on the president of the Alumni Assoc.) and Father Ted had hinted at this happening over the past couple months.
