'St. Augustine Pray for Me'

« on: February 07, 2013, 05:11:37 PM »

Well, my old man needs to have a hernia surgically removed from his stomach on the 13th, and I was asking for prayers on his behalf, and any feedback. He's not the fittest guy, he can be a big-baby when it comes to pain, and he doesn't take care of himself. So pray that this all goes well.

Praying that the surgery goes well and he heals quickly.

Just an FYI...the hernia isn't "removed", it's sewn up.  It's a tear.  Also, I had developed a hernia from the incision point where my gallbladder had been removed....and had to get it fixed.

I've had a number of surgeries, a number of stitches.....and THIS KILLED!!!!  It was the worst!  Be prepared.  It hurts....mine began to bleed and it was a mess.   I couldn't move without somehow putting pressure on the stitches.  Your abdominal muscles are used to sit up, turn, everything....and it was painful....for about 2 days.  Fine after that.

I pray it all goes well....and that there are no complications.

Lord, have mercy!!!
