Dear Friends,

From the ROCOR Western Rite Vicariate UK website:

Bishop Jerome of Manhattan will be visiting England between the 12th and 16th February. His Grace will be based in Oxford for the duration. There will be many opportunities to speak with Vladyka about his plans for the growth of Western Rite missions in the United Kingdom and Europe. Events are as follows:

Thursday 14th February:

10:30 – Terce and Divine Liturgy of St Gregory. (Keble College Chapel)

14:00 – Talk and open discussion. (St Barnabas Church, Jericho)

18:00 – Festal Vespers (St Mary’s, Newnham Murren)

Friday 15th February

10:30 – Pontifical Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Meeting of the Lord. (Keble College Chapel)

14:00 - Talk and open discussion. (St Barnabas Church, Jericho)

18:00 – Festal Vespers (St Mary’s, Newnham Murren)

Please contact Father Thomas on fr.thomascook@gmail.com for more details.

Our official website is http://www.westernriteorthodoxuk.org.uk but we're currently building a replacement at http://westernriteorthodox.weebly.com/ which is updated far more and has a lot more information on it.

If you are in the UK we would love to see you there, if you know anyone who may be interested, please pass the information onto them. Thanks!

In Christ,

I'm sorry but the pictures are really bad. All taken from the entrance, Bishop Jerome is hardly noticable. Frankly, everything is hardly noticable...

Couldn't the photographer come closer?

Yes, they're not amazing but the photographer couldn't really get close and Keble is such a large chapel that the people are miles away.

We work with what we can though!

Who's that in the picture?

Likewise, why does that WRO bishop (I assume) wear a pallium and His Grace does not?

Beautiful-looking liturgy. Of course, the locale doesn't hurt.

Thanks for your interest.

Liturgies have been held in the regular places with several extra faces in attendance.

Dialogue continues (slowly) with a handful of interested parties. Please pray that they will find a home in the holy Orthodox Church.

I cannot prove this picture was actually taken in GB, and not in France/Belgium/Germany wherever.
