Dear Friends,

It's been a while, but we finally have up pictures from Kim's (MsGuided's) Chrismation, which took place on 19 December 2004.  While you view them, I ask you to say a prayer for her wellbeing and safe return from Argentina (she can't come back soon enough!).  Enjoy!

Congratulations. Is that the OCA parish outside of Albany? Maybe Cohoes? I'm almost positive I went for vespers there once.

Very nice pictures ! In which church did it take place ? Some of the writings above the icons looked like arabic, but it was not clear .....

Yeah, that's the OCA parish in Watervliet, St. Basil's.  Cohoes is a little farther away.

Stavro, I'm pretty sure the writing on the icons is not Arabic but Slavonic.  If it was Arabic, it means I wasn't very observant when I was there!  Smiley

Thanks guys!  ::blush:: I love this church so much, along with the priest (Archimandrite Nicholas Iuhos), but unfortunately I'm almost never there anymore now that I go home (2.5 hours away) on the weekends.  But it is a beautiful church and I highly recommend visiting, especially for vespers!
