It's the Hundred Years' War, which was between England and France, that began in 1337 not the Reformation.

^Maybe there would be no good reason, but maybe people would learn something. How many threads on this forum (or any forum) reach no real consensus or conclusion? Yet there is stuff to be learned, even if not everyone comes to agree, or someone doesn't give a definitive solution/answer...

Answer: Too many threads.

I try to think of that Saying from the Desert Fathers, in which a monk says that if someone visits him and the visitor goes away with the monk learning something, he examines himself to see what the problem was. In other words, if we don't learn something then we shouldn't blame the conversation or the person we're conversing with, but should ask whether we missed something. Now just today I was being a shameful person and playing around on a thread, so I'm hardly a perfect practicer of that, but I try to remember it.
