Hello,
I attend an OCA parish for Saturday night Vespers. (Yes, I am STILL a protestant on Sunday mornings....) and I wanted to become faithful in the reading of Sacred Scripture so I wanted to follow the daily readings. I noticed that on the Greek Orthodox website, the daily readings are different from the OCA website. Can someone tell me why?
For example, here is the link for the readings on the OCA website for Saturday 26 Jan  (http://oca.org/readings/daily/2013/01/26) and here are the readings from the GOA website (http://www.goarch.org/chapel/main_view?D=1/26/2013). 

Same day, different readings; I'm confused.

What I do like about the GOA is they have an app for my kindle that makes it easy to access the readings on my kindle.

The short answer is there is difference this time of year between the Slavic and Greek Lectionary. I can not remember the reason for the difference, just that there is a difference. Last Sunday for example there were at three different Gospel reading throughout the Orthodox world, due to calendar and typikon variances.  Also, outside of Sunday it could be do to the rank of the saint commemorated.
