St. Daniel the Prophet

« on: January 21, 2013, 08:50:00 AM »

I am now at the point in my career where I am seriously contemplating a submission for early retirement.  I know I have mentioned this before, but it fills my thoughts now on a daily basis.  If I do, and am accepted, it will reduce my income significantly and I am unsure whether or not it is a wise move.  I do know I am fairly miserable now, but I also know it can be worse.  If I do and am accepted, I will return to school full time and hopefully get my Masters so I can teach.  Then again, they may say no which would deny me a choice and leave only one path.  Please pray for me and my family as we choose what path we should take.  Thank you!

Lord, have mercy!

Isn't 41 a bit early for retirement.

I've been doing it for about 22 years, but yes, that's why it's called early retirement.   Grin

May God grant you the vision and wisdom to choose that path for your life which coincides with His will for you.
