Hi ya'll!
Just asking you to pray for me while I drive home to Jordanville this afternoon.  My little Chuck (so I name my cars, leave me alone) isn't doing so well, but hopefully the alternator belt will hold for another 350+ miles.
I wish all the OC Orthos a Merry Christmas, be safe if your traveling.

Now where were we? Oh yeah - the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn’t have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

May God Leads you ... and Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it today on the old calendar

Prayers for a safe round trip.

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference.

Not meaning to draw attention to a brother's error (I may be the one who's wrong here!), but isn't the Old Calendar Nativity tomorrow?

And, ania, prayers...

Lord, have mercy.

"...you could not bear, Master, in the compassion of your mercy to watch the human race being tyrannised by the devil, but you came and saved us. We acknowledge your grace, we proclaim your mercy, we do not conceal your benevolence..."
