Anyone looking for good-quality music by Orthodox Christian musicians, take a listen to the new disc released by Franklin Tate last month.  It sounds very John-Michael-Talbot-esque (guitar work and vocal quality) and the lyrics are all based in the Psalms.  Really a great, reflective work!

Here's the link to listen: http://www.saintromanosrecords.com/product_info.php/products_id/149?osCsid=04f1590492f00d0c1766931e6f33f451

FYI.

Happy new year!

 Cheesy Hey, Ol...er...Elisha!
Home safely in NYC -- snow and cold greeted us at the door.  It was great to see you in CA.  I listened to your buddy's CD -- you're right, he is very talented.
Thanks!

I knew you'd agree with my assesment.  Let me know if you have a broadband connection and I could possibly send you some live samples of our choir (besides the cd link above) and also from Daniel.

Also, I posted this in another thread, which happened today:
"On a local and personal note, a 20 yr old son of a longtime RC/EC fence sitter hopped onto the Orthodox side officially today (Baptized and Chrismated).  One of his uncles has been Orthodox for several years I think.  I myself just became a godparent of a cute 3 month old Kenyan boy, who took on the name Maximos."
