Perhaps the case can be made for infant
ordination 
This reminds me of a story from St. John Moschos' Spiritual Meadow. I think it involved St. Athanasius when he was a boy. He and his friends used to play church They made little Athanasius their bishop. Others were priests and deacons. The patriarch happened to watch them out the window as they played the Liturgy. When it came down for the consecration, the patriarch saw fire come down from heaven to consecrate the children's bread and wine. So he had his people take care of these boys, making sure they were provided with education and protection and when they grew up, each later came to be ordained--the ones who played deacons became deacons, the ones who played priests became priests, and St. Athanasius became a bishop.
