Bear in mind that the "today" the OP is referring to is St. Valentine's Day.  There were 3 of them.  All martyrs.  Hmm.....

Same thing I do every year: Crying into a pint of "Extreme Moose Tracks" ice cream while listening to Simon and Garfunkel on repeat. Duh.

Nothing.  She's at work tonight and I'll be hanging with a couple of hommies - one who is married and the other is gay.  The first doesn't celebrate V-Day (and nor does the missus (wonderful, exquisite woman, btw)) and the second is single.

(But I bought her a rose and some chocolates on Tuesday.   Wink)

V-Day means nothing for us. We celebrated yesterday - not only are Saints Aquila and Priscilla much more suitable patrons for a married couple, it was also our engagement anniversary.

My ex-boyfriend (and current best friend) hates V-Day with a virulent passion. In the nearly five years we dated, I shared his view. It happens to be his birthday, and finding somewhere to have a decent celebratory meal without a kitsch overdose was an ordeal in itself. Undecided

I'm going to pop over to my sis's and give her kids (my godchildren) some chocolates and little stuffed bears for the girls.  They are the true loves of my life!  Cheesy

....then I'm going to stop and get a pizza and go home and share it with my mom, whom I also love dearly...

What more could a girl ask for?

Well....I was waiting for the receptionist to ring and tell me there was a gorgeous bouquet waiting for me up front.....maybe next year!   angel

I spent my day as a third wheel with my two married friends. With the wife I gossiped, with the husband I smoked pipe. With both, I ate nice Nepalese meal.

I don't have a special someone...I spent the day doing backbreaking work with my cousin remodeling some old Victorian house; I had to lift 105 boxes (38-40lbs each) of wooden flooring up a steep flight of stairs over and over again. On the plus side, I made $80.

I stopped by my local on the way home to have a drink or two with my girlfriend-less friends only to find an empty bar.  Just me and the bartender.  All my normal brothers in brew were home.

So I went home, waited for the wife to come home from work, made her dinner and hung out a bit, and then she went out to have a drink with a friend of hers while I worked on some music.

Basically, a normal Thursday night.
