Orthodox Christian

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0851577/

Somewhere in Northern Russia in a small Russian Orthodox monastery lives an unusual man whose bizarre conduct confuses his fellow monks, while others who visit the island believe that the man has the power to heal, exorcise demons and foretell the future.

Wondering if anyone has seen it and can help me, how was he forgiven at the end ?.

I've seen it. Better than I had expected it to be.

Excellent movie.  I like watching it almost as much as Howard Hughes liked watching Ice Station Zebra (which I also like, btw).

That's one of my favourite movies, for sure I will watch it again from time to time. Even my Roman Catholic mother was truly touched by it.

The movie can be a source of various spiritual thoughts, and it also made me laugh a few times.
