I heard recently that he has cancer...possibly terminal. He is that Dean of Holy Trinity Cathedral at Green and Van Ness Streets in Sna Francisco. There is an Unction service this Sunday, Jan 9 @ 4pm at Holy Trinity Cathedral.

Grant healing to your servant, O Lord.

Some of you may know, but he's the father of a friend of mine from SVS.

Are you referring to Chris Sokolov (Fr. Dn. Kirill as his mom jokingly corrected me a few months ago)?

Yes, Kirill (as I know him) (I suppose I should be calling him Dn as well now!) Prayers for him and his family as well as his father!
