Has anyone read his Mystical Theology of the Eastern Church? Should I read it?

Thanks in advance.  Smiley

Yes. Yes, if you can handle it.

An affirmative, most decidedly.

My dog-eared copy of the book mentioned is proof of the esteem in which it is held.

I have read Lossky's Mystagogy of the Eastern Church, and have found it to be an excellent book; but it is not for the theologically faint of heart, nor the neophyte.  I have, more than once, recommended it to contentious heretics, and hope it scares the s*** out of them.

If you're locked into any number of Western theological concepts or methodologies, Lossky's presentation of Orthodox theology, and the apophatic logic he applies therein can be quite daunting.

Hmmm... maybe I'll have to read him to verify.
