Dear Friends,

I would like to ask you to keep Kim (MsGuided) and her family in your prayers as they travel on 2 Jan 2005 to Argentina for two weeks, that God would grant them a safe journey, a refreshing vacation, and a safe return home (~15-16 Jan).

I hope she brings me back some of the summer.  Smiley

Best wishes for uneventful travels!

Where exactly is Kim going?  I was in Argentina if you recall in June and July of 2004.

The only place I know for sure she'll be in is Buenos Aires; they'll be visiting her father's family down there.  I'm sure they'll visit surrounding areas as well...apparently, since they haven't seen each other for years, everyone wants to have them stay at their place, so they're not exactly sure where they'll end up.

Bob, Kim is not due to leave for Argentina w/ her immediate family until tomorrow evening, but ceratinly what you say holds for her extended family whom she is going to visit...

Oh, now that i read the article, it occurs to me that her family down there are a Pastor's family (her cousins are Pastor's Kids), so im not sure if they would be at a rock concert based on what she tells me Smiley but prayers nonetheless...

Quite right on both counts, Donna Rose.  Excuse my faux pas.

Well, if they don't let the knitting on board, she has, courtesy of Anastasios, plenty of reading material on ecumenism from CTOS.  Tongue

Thank you for your prayers for me.  I think I'll make it, it's just so boring without her.

Hey everybody, I want to thank you all very much for your prayers and consideration. I'm currently without a computer and am borrowing my roommate's at the moment. It will be difficult catching up with a month of missed shenanigans Tongue

We stayed with a cousin of my fathers in Berazategui, Bs. As. and I must say, I miss the summer weather dearly, and yes, the toilets flush clockwise! Cheesy

I was not around for the tragedy that occurred in the club in Bs. As., but some family of my fathers, a bunch of cousins who are all nurses, had to treat many victims on that day; a very traumatic and sad day.

No replies necessary, but I ask for you to pray for my family living down there, who I met for the first time and who my father hadn't seen in 41 years. It's amazing to gain so much extremely loving family literally overnight. It was truly a blessing to go there and meet them all.

Unfortunately, my castellano did not improve mucho. Roll Eyes
