No, not really. I don't think the montanists did all those strange slain in spirit and speaking in tongues thingies.

Some sources say that Montanists have the practice of speaking in tongues.

And they must not slain in spirit.

Charismatic movement is even more heretical than Montanism?

According to the 4th century bishop Epiphanius the Montanists stopped claiming that they had prophets after the original three died.

Montanism taught how to practice spiritual dance. Now, some Charismatic Church teach how to practice spiritual songs. Cool

The Ethiopian Orthodox have liturgical dances IIRC.

Litugical dances? I think this should not be the tradition of EO....
Is the practice of Liturgical dance in Ethiopian Orthodox approved by the whole OO?

Is the practice of Liturgical dance in Ethiopian Orthodox approved by the whole OO?

Ask on the Oriental Orthodox subforum. There you'll find some people who are knowledgable about Ethiopian Orthodoxy.
