I'm trying to find a place to attend Liturgy if I can, but I have no idea where to start. Does anyone know how to help with it?

I live in the Spokane area, if that helps!

p.s. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. :p

Also, you might want to read this article before attending. It's tells briefly about some aspects of Byzantine liturgy. Reading it might help you avoid some cultural shocks. Smiley

Thanks you guys! Turns out there's an Antiochian Church right in my area! Smiley

Also, how should one dress to attend the Divine Liturgy?

Dress conservatively, and respectfully.

Also, it depends on the parish. In my ROCOR parish, a nice dress shirt and trousers will do you just fine, while the Greek church i go to sometimes, anything less than a full suit will look out of place a little. A nice compromise I find, if i am ever unsure to dress, in any situation(church or otherwise) is what is called a business casual dress, which is a nice pair of trousers and a polo.

Remember though, most importantly, your dress should be to glorify God and not be distracting.

I live in Portland, Or. And have several friends who attended that parish. It's a good one. Wear what makes you comfortable. You'll have a good time.

Business casual will be fine there, I don't know about the Greek Church I haven't checked it out yet. Cool
