Hello people.

Can I once again ask for yours prayers? With christmas (after the western calendar) coming up, it is going to be a hard time. I went to help out my auntie today which I will spend christmas with and it did not take long before she was all over me and told me how shocked the family is that I in time (if it is the will God) will convert to orthodoxy.

They do have my former conversion to catholic faith in mind and in one way, I can understand it, but that they talk behind my back and states how displeased they are seems a little odd (as it really does not matter to them). Knowing that it will be some family dinners at 24th, 26th and 29th (my priest does encourage me to take part in them and not back away) it will be a time of ridiculing, mockery and lot of trashtalking.

So some prayers would be deeply appreciated. Maybe I am a fool for putting myself through this..

Lord Have Mercy

Remember Jesus comes first, then your family. Don't let them dissuade you. I know entirely what you are going through.

Lord Have Mercy!

There are always obstacles presented when we seek God.  May this part of your journey provide you strength and kind-heartedness.

Bless you all for your prayers and advices. I love them so much and love them ever higher now. Read earlier about today of Saint Xenia of St Petersburg and it made me really think. She is definetly a rolemodel worth taking note of. Now, I got an icon of her at my wall, so praying morning and eves and ask her for intercessions and prayers.
