In many ancient icons, include those coptic ancient icons, the bishops are always with omophorion (pallium).

And now, omophorion is not a part of coptic episcopal vestment.
In which century the coptic church abandoned this part? and why?

IIRC, it's still there, just in a different form. Let me see if I can dig up some more info.

I found a picture of what I think is the Coptic Omophor. According to wikipedia, it's called a ballin. Compare what Abba Seraphim and the other Coptic Bishop are wearing to the Omophors of the Armenian and Syriac Prelates.
