I've asked prayer for my dad, Les before for he had open heart surgery this summer and a few weeks later surgery on his carotid artery. He has never really completely recovered from these and Sunday he experienced some mysterious bleeding. It seems to have gotten better and didn't affect any of his numbers, but he's worried and frankly so am I. His doctor says it's okay as long as it doesn't reoccur, but it could. As he told my mother he really wants to live to see his grandchildren grow up, I was concerned about that even before just knowing that he wasn't recovering as well as expected now add this. I appreciate any prayers you would send his way, thanks.

Lord have mercy!

My step father has something similar happen, and he pulled through.

My father continues to exhibit no more bleeding, but fluid was found in his chest cavity between his lungs and the abdominal wall.

He's on a new water pill and as a result has dropped some weight (water loss) and is breathing easier, and a pain he was experiencing in his back has gone away, and he's sleeping better.

However, he now has developed a case of influenza.

I give glory to God for the positive things that have happen and thanks to all of you who have prayed, but I also ask your continued prayers for his return to health.

Thanks,

Thank you for asking, at this moment he seems to be doing better, but he's had such an up and down time it's hard to say for certain. For awhile now, it seems as one thing gets better something else happens. They never did figure out what was causing the bleeding. He hasn't bleed in awhile but as I say it been a string of small things. Hopefully this up time will last.

Lord have mercy on my dad, Les.

Had a conversation with my parents last night. My father finally says he's feeling better and it been long enough since  he's had any new issues I think we can finally say he's on the up swing. Thank you all for your prayers.
