There isn't much I have to be stressed about in my life, but I've been struggling with both stress and anger. Part of it has been fueled by video games, but a lot of it probably has to do with the lack of prayer in my life and my continued unemployment with upcoming student loan payments.

Praying for you, brother. I was in a similar situation a few years ago on at least 3 occasions. It was very discouraging, but God helped me through. While unemployed, have you had an opportunity to do any volunteer work (homeless shelter, clothes closet, food pantry, etc.)? I found that to be incredibly helpful during my unemployment. That way I was using the free time God gave me to help others. Who knows, maybe you'll make a connection that way and get a job?

Also, I recommend praying the akathist to St. Xenia. Smiley

In Christ,
Andrew

I don't know how to help you.  I NEVER have anger issues.

Not!  I'll be praying for you.  Pray for me!

Lord, have mercy!

Try to stop with the video games.  It's an addiction, and all addictions injure us spiritually.

I loved the idea of volunteering while you are idle from work.  Just wonder in to any nursing home and start visiting the old folks.  You'd be amazed what a difference spending 20 minutes of your time with an older person has on them.

There's soooooo much to do, and never enough time to do it.  You've now got some extra time....go and do....and God will provide.  Pray, ask with faith, and you shall receive!

Lord, have mercy!!!
