Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more. A hasty quarrel kindles fire, and urgent strife sheds blood. If you blow on a spark, it will glow; if you spit on it, it will be put out; and both come out of your mouth

Meet Dutch St. Nicholas (our Santa). The feast is today. He's however horribly latinised (the beard is still eastern, though!).

He showed love for Arius strangely. But did apologize as we all err. But, he was charitable to those in need. In that, I believe he was a great role model. We should all give to those in need. I remember when I was a child, all the children put our shoes outside of the church. We went in and did some readings on him. Then sang the "St. Nicholas song". When we came back they were full of candy. My brother brought two pairs (LOL)

Happy feast day! BTW, I prefer much more the true one st. Nicholas, who is much more interesting, extraordinary (obedient to God, disobedient to heretics - great exemplar for all people that love rebelling in a good cause) than this man wearing a dwarf costume <a href=" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9aWFUT3zUQ" >troparion to st. Nicholas in Church Slavonic - Serbian chant (begins in 0:50) <a href=" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Paj_kOFrIW4" >And famous Ukrainian carol to st. Nicholas
