Kunafa
« on: December 24, 2004, 01:39:23 AM »
I feel kind of silly asking such a goofy question on this part of the board that has so recently been full of heavy topics.  But I'll ask anyway!  I need a sure-fire Kunafa recipe.  I've been given a couple, and I'm not able to tap my Egyptian teachers.  Anyone here "min Misr"?  I'd like to get the recipe with the cream in the middle, but that might not be the Egyptian style.  Anyway, I hope everyone is having a blessed Nativity fast.  Aied al Milad Mubarak. ;)

Bump.
Happy shall he be, that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock. Alleluia.

Once Christ has filled the Cross, it can never be empty again.

Bah! Cooking is a woman's job. I'm sure the Tunts and Tetas at your local Coptic or Syriac parish will be able to help you out. :P

^Yes, this is a joke.

Not sure if Teta will be of much help, but I'll see what I can do.
