My computer has been working slowly for the past several days, and then I discovered that in order to retrieve my email that I must enable Java Script.
I do not know how Java Script was disabled, but any information on how to rectify this situation would be greatly appreciated.

I just cleared the cache and did a reboot. That did improve the speed, but still I am not able to access my emails. This is the error message that I get: A temporary error has occurred. Please try again later. Previously, I was told to enable Java Script, so clearing the cache did not help. |

What web browser and version are you using? Safari, Firefox, Opera?
Also what website are you using to access your email?

What web browser and version are you using? Safari, Firefox, Opera?
Also what website are you using to access your email?
I am using Safari. Version 4.1.3 I tried downloading a newer version, but was prohibited from doing so. One of my email providers is gmx.com I am wondering if it is a gmx problem because my other email providers are working great. |

Apparently, my older version of Safari does not support Flash, so that is why GMX.com is asking me to enable Java Script. How do I do that? I cannot access GMX.com at all. Can you? Is it offline? p.s. Edited to add: I was just at GMX.com and was able to access my emails, but Flash is not working so that I cannot view youtubes or get any upgrades. That is a bummer. Or perhaps that is a good way to observe the Nativity Fast ... no videos. |

The link below helps you install Adobe Flash on Mac. There are two different versions of Flash for Mac - one supports 10.4 & 10.5 and one supports 10.6, 10.7 & 10.8
