My wounded pride keeps letting a certain idea be entertained in my mind, albeit briefly and it's quickly dismissed: that you all are just cheating.

No excuses Father! I have been warned and I scored 38,500, which is nothing to rave about, but the words that I missed are so rare in my readings that I am fine with my score.

Don't feel too subintellectual, I'm a native English speaker and I went to private schools throughout my life. I do envy others that can speak more than one language fluently; I can speak a little of different languages, but none fluently and two only enough to get by in dire situations... And once I figure out what my gifts are I'll be sure to use them to praise God.

I think my vocabulary has considerably declined over the years since I have worked in the corporate world.
Too much doublespeak and euphemisms, sadly.

No, your problem is that you re disrespecting Cleveland. FYI, Cleveland is 30 miles north of Akron; the hometown of Father George; the home of Soap Box Derby; and the former Rubber Capital of the World. Here is more info: Airships, blimps, dirigibles, and zeppelins have been manufactured at the Goodyear Airdock since World War II. The Goodyear Polymer and National Polymer Innovation Centers are on the University of Akron campus which anchors the Polymer Valley and is home to the Archives of the History of American Psychology. Akron also headquartered the National Marble Tournament, Professional Bowlers Association, and Women's Professional Mud Wrestling. Home to employers such as Summa, GOJO Industries, FirstMerit Bank, and FirstEnergy, it is listed by Newsweek as one of ten Information Age high tech havens. Awarded by the National Civic League and National Arbor Day Foundation, it was named one of the world's most livable cities. The All-American Soapbox Derby, WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, National Hamburger Festival, Founders Day (Alcoholics Anonymous), and Road Runner Akron Marathon are annually hosted by the city which is a venue for some events of the 2014 Gay Games. Tourist attractions include Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and Lock 3 Park where the American Marble & Toy Manufacturing Company once stood.

Cleveland sucks. But not as bad as Akron. In increasing degree of suckage: Cincinnati->Cleveland->Columbus->Dayton->Toledo->Akron->Youngstown Athens and Yellow Springs aren't properly located in Ohio but only within the imaginations of those who pretend their addresses are there.

Atleast Ohio got that White Castle. This year I will finally get to try it. Only two hours away from the Burgh. But ROFL at Akron, I totally remember that city in my youth. Toledo too. Ohio is PA's left armpit.

But ROFL at Akron
It ain't for nothing that AA got its start proper there. Not that it has done much good, not even there. Look at where that row of suckage ranks in the US's Most Hungover Citites List: 25. Denver, Colo. 24. Portland, Ore. 23. El Paso, Texas 22. Philadelphia 21. Chicago 20. San Francisco 19. Austin, Texas 18. Columbus, Ohio 17. Boston, Mass. 16. Cincinnati 15. San Antonio 14. St. Louis 13. Providence, R.I. 12. Honolulu 11. Cleveland 10. Las Vegas 9. Springfield, Mass. 8. Worcester, Mass. 7. Toledo, Ohio 6. Akron, Ohio Sorry Dr. Bob . . . 5. Buffalo, N.Y. 4. Pittsburgh, Pa. 3. New Orleans 2. Milwaukee, Wis. 1. Omaha, Neb. http://www.wcpo.com/dpp/news/state/cincinnati-ranked-in-list-of-the-25-most-hungover-cities-in-america#ixzz2K9oWMLHf5 out of 25 with Akron leading . . .

My result was 28,700 which isn't bad for someone with a 9th grade education But if I saw the words in context I am positive I would know what many of them mean.
