I have switched all images on the site to go through the GD wrapper library.

Anyway, if you notice anything funky with avatars or other images,let me know.  GD allows them to be displayed crisper, clearer, and more optimized.

Oh yea, if you hold your mouse pointer over a topic, it should display the first 200 characters in a little mini popup.
