Please remember in your prayers our brothers and sisters in the Orthodox Church in America as they being their special Sobor to elect a new Primate/Metropolitan. As they begin their pre-Nativity journey through Advent this week, may the protection of the Theotokos be upon them and may they remember in their prayers the Prince of Peace, the Son of God for whose Nativity the journey to the cave in Bethlehem begins following the Sobor. May their deliberations be conducted in a Christ-like manner, may they lay aside their passions, their hard feelings and their fear. Snami Boh! God is with Us! Lord, have mercy.

God, please grant the OCA a wise and discerning metropolitan, to compensate for his predecessors mistakes, provide for Metropolitan Jonah, HB Herman, and also Theodosius, Archbishop of Washington and New York, Metropolitan of All America and Canada, and let the Synod be loyal to the new First Hierarch of the American Church.
