'St. Augustine Pray for Me'

« on: November 11, 2012, 03:32:29 AM »

My father doesn't really take care of himself very much and I've been pretty worried about his health for quite a while now. The worst being the fact that he has had a stomach hernia for about two months now and has still not consulted medical help about it at all yet. Every time I question him about it he says "I'll do it soon" and blows it off. The problem isn't money because he's actually been making more money in the past few months than he has made in quite a while, he just doesn't take his health seriously I guess. On top of this, he's a pretty big guy. I worry about his weight. He eats a lot of unhealthy foods and hardly ever exercises; he's especially bad whenever something is bothering him, that's when he really eats a lot. I think he's a compulsive eater. I just worry about his health, his hernia combined with being overweight and overworking himself at his job. Some prayers for his health would be appreciated.
