Mobs [of Muslims] run riot in night of race hate
A NIGHT of racist violence brought terror to the streets of Yorkshire
as gangs of [Muslim] Asian youths caused mayhem in a series of unprovoked
attacks.
Groups of young [Muslim] men went on the rampage in Leeds, Bradford and
Halifax, setting fire to a church and stoning a vicar, seriously
injuring one man, and smashing the car windscreen of a terrified
disabled driver as his vehicle came under fire from bricks and
fireworks.
Yesterday the Bradford vicar whose church was set alight said he
feared for his life when a 50-strong gang of masked [Muslim] Asian youths
hurled stones and fireworks at him as he went to investigate an arson
attack.
The Rev Tony Tooby (pictured), vicar of St Phillip's Church,
Girlington, said the [Muslim] youths surrounded his car, shouting Get the
white bastard', and pelting him with stones.
Mr Tooby said: "As I came round the corner there were [Muslim] youths
chucking rockets at cars and at each other. One landed near me and
they were all laughing and joking.
"I got out of my car to see what was happening and I realised they
were going into my church. There were 40 or 50 of them [Muslims] and it was
frightening. I could smell smoke and I feared the church would go.
I got back in the car and dialled 999."
Mr Tooby said he quickly realised the [Muslim] gang had gathered behind
his car.
"They shouted, Get the white bastard,' and I put the car in gear,
put my head down and drove as fast as I could up the road."
The [Muslim] gang pursued Mr Tooby up Washington Street, pelting his car
with missiles which smashed the rear window. He alerted a police patrol
at the top of the road and officers quickly arrived, by which time the
culprits had fled.
Chief Supt Phil Read, who is investigating the [Muslim] attack, said Mr Tooby
had been extremely fortunate to escape uninjured, and added: "It was
a despicable act and we are hoping that the scene of crime officers
will yield some evidence we can work with in catching those
responsible."
The Bishop of Bradford, David Smith, last night condemned the
attack.
He said: "I was appalled to receive news of the [Muslim] attack and I am
equally dismayed to hear of the race abuse hurled at the vicar.
"The [Muslim] perpetrators of this violence bring their community into
disrepute and give no satisfaction at all to those who are working
for racial harmony in Bradford."[
As he surveyed the damage at the church yesterday - a burnt-out
chair, damage to stained glass windows, scorched carpet and prayer
books strewn around - Mr Tooby insisted the attack would not deter
his efforts to unite the community in Girlington.
He said: "I have been here nearly four years and we have respect for
the community and they respect us. . It is only a small percentage of
the [Muslim] youths who are involved in this type of behaviour. [Riots everywhere and he wants us to believe that he did a head count and asserts to us that it is only a small percentage!
"We will not let the mindless few [several gangs of hundreds of rioters constitute a few??] ruin the good relationships we have in Girlington. We cannot."
The latest attack comes only weeks after vicar Bob Hill was pelted
with bricks by a gang of Asian [Muslim] youths in Manningham. [O! So this is just one more of how many other attacks??]
Mr Hill was stoned after he told the [Muslim] gang to stop wrecking an Asian
women's community centre next to St Paul's vicarage in the riot-torn
area of the city. As his horrified wife watched, he was hit in the
stomach by a brick, but was not seriously hurt [well it is good to know that these Muslims aren't out to kill people when they throw bricks at old men...Very comforting indeed!!].
There were hundreds of other incidents across West Yorkshire on
Monday, with reports that people on their way to a family bonfire and
fireworks display in Roundhay Park, Leeds, were approached by [Muslim] youths chanting: "Get out of Afghanistan," and demanding drivers say: "Osama Bin Laden rules."
When they refused, horrified drivers and passengers tried to escape
as their cars were pelted with bricks, and fireworks were thrown
through their windows [by the Muslim terrorists].
Witness Victoria Hardy, 21, a student at Leeds University, said:
"It was unbelievable - horrifying stuff. The [Muslim] youths tried to make my
friend in the car in front say that Osama bin Laden ruled, and when
he said sorry, but he couldn't, they threw a firework into the car.
It went off while four of them were still in there. They [Muslims] started
hurling bricks at them and then came over to us to do the same."
She added: "I think we were lucky not to have been seriously injured
but we were still very shocked. None of us is racist in the slightest
and we did absolutely nothing to ask for what happened to us."
One man was seriously injured in the series of attacks on motorists
on Harehills Road in Leeds, where riots took place only five months
ago [Oooo yet another riot...lets see..How many does that make for these peaceful Muslims...After all Islam means peace! Or maybe it means a "piece" of you hide or skull].
The 38-year-old man was sitting in the back of a Ford Fiesta when a gang of 10 to 15 asian [Muslim] men ran towards the car at about 7.50pm. [Now its "MEN" doing this...But "Islam" means peace!!]
His friend who was sitting in the passenger seat last night said: "We
were on our way to the bonfire in Roundhay and saw them [Muslims] coming
towards us.
"I saw the window come through and one of them had smashed a
whisky bottle right through into my friend's face, his eye was literally
hanging off his face.
"It was terrifying. They didn't care if they killed him. [SUPRISE! SURPRISE! SUPRISE!!!]
A second incident, in Harehills Road, involved a 48-year-old disabled
man who was in slow-moving traffic when a group of [Muslim] youths pelted his
car with fireworks and bricks before smashing his car windscreen with
an axe.
Hours later in nearby Rossington Road, a man was punched in the face
as he approached a group of five [Muslim] Asian youths who were smashing up
his wife's car.
Two cars were set alight and several other incidents involving [Muslim] youths
throwing bricks and fireworks were reported in Harehills Lane,
Roundhay Road, Shepherd's Lane and Banstead Park.
Officers in riot gear were deployed to disperse the [Muslim] groups and two
people were arrested for violent disorder.
A second night of disturbances in Halifax saw a house attacked and
cars set alight despite a strong police presence. The trouble flared
at 7.35pm on Monday night after reports that a group of [Muslim] Asian youths
were throwing bricks at a house in Aspinall Street.
On Sunday night five arrests were made following sporadic outbreaks
of violence in which emergency services came under attack from stone-
throwing [Muslim] youths.
Later, police said a 28-year-old man and a 17-year-old youth were
cautioned for possession of controlled drugs and possession of an
offensive weapon respectively following the disturbances in Halifax.
A 22-year-old man from Halifax was charged with possession of a
controlled drug and appeared before Calderdale magistrates yesterday.
