I would like to compile a "list" of "reasons/proofs" for the existance of God in general and then Christ specifically.  If everyone would be so kind as to post there own top 1 or 2 reasons so I could compile a general and specific outline for myself. Thanks in advance.

1. One of the deepest questions that a man could ask is "what is the truth?". 2000 years ago, it seems that Christ already knew this question, but gave an even more astounding answer: "I am The Truth".
2. So, to mention something so deep as "the truth", and then go infinitely further and call yourself "The Truth", you must be God (or His equal  Smiley )

Why?

Why do I want to ask other people because in my narrow perception of life my eyes to see God in all places is very limited, so I just wanted to draw on other peoples "eyes". Sorry if I offended by asking this question.

If I have understood well the question, my reply is that we cannot imagine something that cannot or does not exist, more so if that "something" (or someone) is superior to us. Meaning that we could not possibly have a notion of the potential existence of a Being superior to us if we were the absolute supreme beings or if there was none. Am I making any sense here? Undecided
