'St. Augustine Pray for Me'

« on: October 26, 2012, 04:12:17 AM »

My heart has been feeling great sorrow lately for reasons I am not necessarily comfortable mentioning publically (if you are curious, then just PM me and I will tell). I know that this is a kind of vague request, but I just ask that you will all pray that everything workes out okay for me in accordance with God's Will and that I will have the spiritual strength to endure whatever God permits to happen--even if it is not what I want to happen. That my sorrow will end, and that the issue in question will be resolved. Thanks.

From the memorial service:  http://www.goarch.org/chapel/liturgical_texts/memorialservice

The choir of Saints has found the fountain of life and the door of Paradise. May I also find the way through repentance. I am the sheep that is lost: O Savior, call me back and save me.

Rejoice, gracious Lady, who for the salvation of all gave birth to God in the flesh, and through whom the human race has found salvation. Through you, pure and blessed Theotokos, may we find Paradise.
