I'm falling into temptation a lot lately and really need to be stronger in my walk, like that whole armor of God thing. I'm feeling kind of pathetic and want to give up trying to change my life in other ways or not be a pathetic loser who knows it.

2 Cor. 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

may God guide you.
remember the armor of God (ephesians 6) is about putting on (having in your character) truth, righteousness, salvation (through Jesus Christ), faith, readiness to share the gospel and responding with the words of God (from the Bible and Holy Tradition).
all the rest of the book of ephesians has good advice for life too.

I've been feeling the same way as you do, my friend.

Kyrie eleison on us both.
