One is a globalized ideology adhered to explicitly by Zionist Jews and Protestants and explicitly and illicitly by Western world powers manifesting in a localized phenomenon ending in World War III. The other is a gloablized ideology adhered to explicitly by radicalized Mohammedans and illicitly by some non-radicalized Mohammedans with overt support from some Mohammedan governments and covert support from Western world powers (when it suits their other objectives--of which defeating communism was but a phase of underiming Russian influence begun by Western support for the Ottomans in the 19th century and continued today by supporting Syrian rebels), manifesting in a globalized phenomenon with distinct local challenges, eding in World War III. The good thing is that both these things play together, so there really isn't a choice as to which is better than the other. |

So, you could easily have Islamism without Zionism, but you couldn't have Zionism without provoking Islamist sentiments. So if you pick Zionism you pick both. |

This is debatable because Islamism precedes Zionism by many centuries. Muhammad theologically "invaded" the land of Israel even when the Jews had neither a state nor a temple there. Thus, it is possible to say that Islamism led to Zionism because most of the Philistines became Muslims and wanted to get Jerusalem. |
