Someone recently recommended to me a similar kind of job...this one involved living as a hermit on a British estate and scaring children away. It would entail not cutting my hair or beard and possibly living in a cave. I said maybe in the future.

How much did it pay, and are they taking applications?

Do I have to have European citizenship, or will they sponsor me for a visa?

Unfortunately, the person who told me about it says he read about it in an article a couple of years ago, and doesn't have it anymore. Google, I guess.

^I know from my reading that in Russia they hire people to guard gardens, and it gives you plenty of time to read the Bible, philokalia, and say thousands of Jesus Prayers. Russia. Something to think about!

I don't know what everyone will pay, but the fellow I read about watched the garden the entire summer, was given a place to stay while he watched it, and at the end was given 2 rubles and a knapsack full of bread.

It is an education process for me as I learn about the psychology of spiritual apostasy. And others get the benefit of perhaps hearing righteousness for the first time.
