So I was doing some work in front of the TV set while Jay Leno was on, and I looked up and saw that Colin Farrel had something on his wrist that looked like a black prayer rope.  I wasn't sure though.  Did anyone else see it?  I recall a thread on celebrities wearing those as a fashion statement, but I can't recall where the thread is.  I'm just wondering if someone saw the Tonight Show this evening and noticed it.

Probably jst a fashion statement.

"Farrell was raised an Irish Catholic in Ireland. It doesn't seem that he's that devout--particularly considering he was thinking about converting to Judaism at one point."

Do you mind sharing a source for this quote?

A year later, he broke up with his Jewish gf and was baptizing his new son in a Catholic church.

2 Cor. 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Maybe Troy invited him to church and he converted?
