A little red squirrel has become an assistant at a new parish in the west of Moscow, and does a wonderful job of attracting children to the church...

"The nature corner attracts the attention of many young parishioners. The kids are delighted with the squirrel and can watch it darting around whimsically for hours."

Ah, Russian entertainment.
Quote from: Fr. Thomas Hopko, dystopian parable of the prodigal son
...you can imagine so-called healing services of the pigpen. The books that could be written, you know: Life in the Pigpen. How to Cope in the Pigpen. Being Happy in the Pigpen. Surviving in the Pigpen. And then there could be counselling, for people who feel unhappy in the pigpen, to try to get them to come to terms with the pigpen, and to accept the pigpen.

Aren't red squirrels the ones that can attack humans by deliberately tossing acorns, etc.?

I think YouTube has had some videos about these little monsters and their antics.

Here is news from Scientific American about red squirrels vs. grey squirrels (from the USA).

The American Greys are called "Killer Squirrels."

The parish must be nuts.
