Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Id like to know which is the most recommended film about the life of our Jesus Christ? Ive seen a some in the past when I was a child, but don't remember the names. The most recent was The Passion of Christ.
Any good movies you could recommend about the New Testament, about the life of our Jesus Christ and are there any good films about the Old Testament?
Thank you for your answers,
God's blessings in Christ

Passion of the Christ was well-made, but extremely violent and I can't recommend watching it more than once.

When it comes to the Old Testament, I don't think you can get any more classic than Charlton Heston playing Moses in The Ten Commandments.

I value and recommend the word-for-word Gospel of John movie that was made in 2003 and narrated by Christopher Plummer.

When it comes to the Old Testament, I don't think you can get any more classic than Charlton Heston playing Moses in The Ten Commandments. Also the Prince of Egypt, one of my favorite animated movies of all time.

The 1970s TV miniseries 'Jesus of Nazareth' is still my Mom's favorite. Mine too. It's a staple of Holy Week on U.S. TV.
