Prayers for Kim :) :) :)
« on: December 12, 2004, 09:38:38 PM »
Kim (aka MsGuided), who was recently appointed the position of Global Moderator here at OCnet, is being received into the Church by Chrismation in one week, on Sunday the 19th of December. :) She has chosen Saint Anastasia as her patron.

Please keep her in your prayers this week as she prepares for this wonderful event. :)

GOD GRANT YOU MANY YEARS, KIMMY! :) :) :)

She has my prayers.  Many years, Kim!  We are also having a chrismation at our church on the 19th.  Must be a good day for it.

Thank you all for the well-wishes and prayers.  Hey, if anyone is in the Albany/Watervliet area, please come by St. Basil's Orthodox Church 21 Archibald St. Watervliet, NY.  The chrismation will be before liturgy, around 8:50am (Liturgy @9:30).

I didn't know you hadn't been received into the Church yet! Anyway, I wish you all the best :)

Yea, you can't put Eastern Orthodox in your profile until you are actually Orthodox. Robert's Rule.

It is a good day for it, on the Old Calander its the Feast of St. Nicholas, my brother's namesday & the 3rd anniversery of my dad's ordination into the priesthood.
Now where were we? Oh yeah - the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn’t have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

And there's even an Extended Stay America on Washington Ave. in Albany, across from SUNY.  :)

Hi Kim,
Wishing you well-- my wife and I occasionally attend Vespers at St Basil's.
May God grant you many years.
