adding attachments to email

my current email via comcast won't let me add attachments to an email. when i click the "add attachments" icon, nothing happens. i've gone through email prefrences and options tabs, nothing there relating to attachments. any suggestions?

Do you have the Comcast toolbar?

If so, uninstall it and try again.
