Off the top of my head, a few options I've seen:

- If she has a Christian name (e.g. Mary) then you can choose a saint with that name, in which case it just becomes a choice of which saint.
- If she doesn't have a Christian name, perhaps a saint on her birth date or baptismal date would work.
- If not, picking a saint that you have a special devotion to or attachment to.

What's her personality? You could take one that would fit hers.

You could pick some Saint which is somehow linked with your familyline's country. For example if you're a French or an American with French roots you could pick some French Saint.

I agree with these as primary options.

*Her name is Eleanor. Her middle name is a French name that no Saint has (to my knowledge, or to Google's)
*Her birthday is March 30.
*I picked Saint Genevieve for myself. I think I'm leaning toward St Barbara for her, but if I have another daughter someday, I think I'd like to name her Sally Barbara, so I felt unsure whether I should select St Barbara for her or not.

Bubbly, outgoing, loves everyone, frolics everywhere.

Native American (I could pick St Peter the Aleut, but I think I'd like to select a female Saint for her)
French, Scottish, Welsh, Irish.
Too many in all to narrow it down a whole lot, really.

Eleanor is seen by some as a version of "Helena", so you could go with Saint Helena.

For the Scots, Welsh, and Irish. Here are some good ones.

I know you said you preferred a female saint for her, but Saint John Climacus is on March 30. He is a great and wonderful saint. She could be Ioanna... Joanne? Not sure what form one would prefer.

Strongly considering St Winifred of Wales for her. Thank you. Smiley

ETA:  But now I'm not finding much about her anywhere else... :headscratch.
I will continue praying and searching.
