My father goes in for surgery on his carotid arteries tomorrow. He's sufficiently healed from the heart surgery to make this possible so that parts good. With God's help he'll come out of this feeling better than he has in years.  Prayers appreciated. Thanks, Maximum Bob

He's still sore and not always sleeping well, but he's getting out driving into town for coffee with his friends, making jokes etc. Seems to be doing as well or better than expected.  Thanks for asking. They only operated on one of the carotid arteries, the one that was 80-90% blocked. The other one is only 60-70% blocked. Don't know what they'll do with that have to wait and see.
