Peace, I haven't been in a good mood this week. At school things are quite fine, but outside (work, inner life) its not going well. My relationship with my boss at work has been strained ever since I messed up on a transaction late last month and I think he's still angry with me since I mistakenly missed a day at work when I thought I was off. As of me, I'm constantly battling my apathy about everything in particular (even my spiritual life). Sometimes I feel that God is ignoring me because I'm not repenting correctly or that I constantly give in to my anger, depressions and other passions/sins/temptations. It's becoming really hard for me to struggle with these things and I end up feeling cold and burnt out inside that I end up not praying with true fervor (even why I try to pray, but for me "trying" won't count anymore in God's eyes - forgive me for that). It's like bits of grace are given and taken away from me by the moment. Prayers would be appreciated at this time. Thanks in advance. - GTA

O Lord, grant that I may meet the coming day in peace. Help me in all things to rely upon Thy Holy Will. In every hour of the day, reveal Thy will to me. Bless my dealings with all who surround me. Teach me to treat all that comes to me throughout the day with peace of soul, and with the firm conviction that Thy will governs all. In all my deeds and words, guide my thoughts and feelings. In unforeseen events, let me not forget that all are sent by Thee. Teach me to act firmly and wisely, without embittering and embarrassing others. Give me the strength to bear the fatigue of the coming day with all that it shall bring. Direct my will. Teach me to pray. Pray Thou Thyself in me. Amen.
- Prayer of St. Philaret of Moscow

Lord have mercy.
GTAsoldier, start each day anew. We all mess up, just own up to mistakes and move on. Many of us been there, too. Don't lose faith and continue in your struggle.
"For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again."
You're in my prayers.

Lord, have mercy!
We all have these moments....just keep praying....and KNOW that God is there and hears you, and gives you what He knows is best for you, at that moment.
Have faith, and be strong.
Dear Lord, lighten GTA's burden and grant him peace and happiness in all aspects of his life.
