If Star Wars were real, and you were being trained on the ways of the Force, would you be a Jedi and learn the ways of the 'Light-side' of the Force or would you become a Sith and use the 'Dark-side' of the force? I imagine that I would start off on the light-side seeing that I am a man of high-ideals and justice, but then after feeling like the light-side has ultimately failed me in bringing justice, I imagine that my revolutionary streak would get the better of me and I would fall to the dark side in hopes of achieving justice through unconventional means after giving up on the conventional way of doing things.

If Star Wars were real,
It isn't...but I would start my own group. The Gray Side. You know, to keep balance.

2. Jedi can use a form of Force Lightning
I'd be a Jedi.

Dark side powers are also cooler. I mean force push (even though this is a neutral power) Vs. force lightning?! It's no contest. Thankfully, in the extended universe some Light-sided Jedi do get to use some of these Dark-sided powers. Btw, I second anyone who said they would be Jolee Bindo. He's awesome.

Which is basically what I said: "Thankfully, in the extended universe some Light-sided Jedi do get to use some of these Dark-sided powers."But thanks for providing that article. I did not know that the Jedi Exile from KOTOR 2 had a name.

The one thing I do not like about Star Wars is that it is one of the only universes where evilness is portrayed as stronger. Notice that every dark-side force on Star Wars is pretty much stronger than every light-side user, and that the only way Luke is even able to beat Vader is through using the dark side momentarily. All of the great light-side users get killed, and not even Master Yoda--the toughest light-side user besides Luke--is able to take out Palpatine.

Dude... Yoda and Mace Windu were both on about the same caliber as Sidious, who was supposed to be the strongest Sith lord of all history. Obi-Wan was stronger than Anakin. Revan was stronger than Malak. The Exile was stronger than Nihilus, Sion and Traya. Galen Marek defeated both Vader and Sidious, almost killing them. The light side is looking pretty good to me.

There is actually a light-side force lightning: Electric judgment; just ask Ki Adi Mundi (I think it was him anyways).

Though, I think the Sith Emperor (who sent Revan after the Star Forge to begin with) is really probably the strongest character in the history of the galaxy.
