For people not familiar with Eastern Orthodox liturgical use of Syriac, I've transcribed and made into a pdf the Akathist Hymn in Syriac translation. The text comes from Sinai Syriac Manuscript 129 (1255 AD), ff. 127v-136r. It can be viewed here-- http://araborthodoxy.blogspot.com/2012/09/the-akathist-hymn-in-syriac.html
