Keep your mind in hell and do not despair

I don't know if anybody really cares about this issue, but here goes.

Personally, I am conflicted regarding grindadráp. On the one hand, I deeply respect faroese culture and considering the small amount of pilot whales killed during the grindadráp, I consider it not as particulary brutal. On the other hand, It is true that pilot whales are very social animals and can be traumatized by these killings, but with the faroese constantly improving their methods of kiling, I hope that it with time will become less painfull for the whales.

What do you think?

How is it more cruel than what we do to pigs and cows?

How do you know it's rubbish?

I think that one thing that maybe could be done is to allow only the males to be killed. In that way the faroese can get their whale meat without killing the females and their offspring.
