Steak fries have their place as a proper flavorless texture addition to a meal.

But for stand alone fries, mystery oil-fried carnival curly fries take the cake for me.
Ah that reminds me. I do enjoy Arby's curly fries.

On this we agree.

Maybe it is just where I am from, but Burger King fries are HORRIBLE! Same goes for In-N-Out Burger fries. I would say that McDonalds and Wendies have the best fries, with Weinerschnitzel fries at a close second.

The big 3 have all changed theirs recently, not for the better, but McDonald's is best of them.  I really like Bojangles and Zaxbys best.

Fries were about $6, onion rings about $2.67 or something like that, and hash browns I don't remember, a buck or two I think. That should make for supper for about four nights though. Probably not in a row. Grin

Okay, I cant eat Fries anymore ( Low Carb thing) but the more important issue is what you put on them. In Baltimore they use beef gravy.

Waffle fries are the best.

McDonalds

Get out of here! Everyone knows Burger King's fries are superior to McDonald's in every way.

ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME

Have you tried BK's new fries? THEY ARE THE WORST ON THE PLANET.

BK has taken such a huge nosedove in recent memory, including removing the beloved BK Fries, that I want nothing to do with them.
Wendys fries are superior to both BK and McDonalds.

This is what I did two years ago. I took two full Krispy Kreme glazed donuts, but a hamburger patty in the middle and then I ate it. I could barely get through half of it without thinking it was pure overload.

In-N-Out French fries are  better  than  the others, since their fries are cooked from fresh cut Kennebec potatoes.

Here's the line to buy In-n-Out burgers and fries. It looks like the line is about 3 miles long, and about a 3 hour wait.

Other fries are shipped frozen, then cooked.  Not good:
