I saw that No. 4 before. Yup, it is pretty amazing what a squadron of only 30 hornets can do to a hive of 30,000 European honeybees. YIKES! But here's one way that the bees' Japanese cousins have learned how to counter the hornets' threat: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dp72gXkYJIwRoast hornet, anyone?

No. 2 in that montage, the one with the newt and the bullfrog, reminds of the emergence of the gopher after the final Caddyshack explosion scene. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0Hx5ka1FiAFast forward to about 2:15 on the video.

What's truly incredible to me is the bullfrog's diet.

I just saw on video the last couple of days that the animals found most frequently inside the bellies of bullfrogs in Arizona are--get this--other bullfrogs.

Cannibalism is very frequent among their kind.
